Basic Rider's Course (BRC)
This course is open to anyone 15 1/2 years of age or older and is designed to teach both new and experienced cyclists skills necessary to ride in traffic safely. Practice riding on an off-street range in included. Motorcyclist license or temporary permit required. Motorcycles provided.

Photography
Students will learn the use of camera, lenses, flash lighting, exposure, film and discussions and demonstrations of photo techniques. Participants should have an adjustable 35mm camera.

Landscape/Gardening
This course gives the homeowner a background in landscaping and gardening. Plant selection, layout and design, soil preparation, weed and insect control, and fertilization will be covered.

Quilting

Learn color selection, safe rotary cutting, and machine piecing a lap size quilt. Sewing Machine, rotary cutter, clear 6 1/2" ruler, matt, and iron is required.

Calligraphy
This course will emphasize evaluation of letter construction, spacing conditions, and developing skills through the use of tools, materials and various techniques. First day attendance is imperative.

Golf
This course is designed for the beginner to the intermediate golfer. A golf professional will give instruction at a driving range on: fundamentals of swing, putting, chipping, rules, etiquette, golf terms and more. Range balls are extra.

Floral Design I
Practice the elements and principles of design, color and the use of accessories. Work with fresh or silk flowers to make unique arrangements. No experience is necessary.

Small Engine Repair Basics
Get your small engine into peak operating condition. Learn and practice common repairs and maintenance of small engines such as mowers, rototillers, chain saws and outboards. Students work on their own engines.

Introduction to Stained Glass
A beginner hands-on class to learn the basic skills to make your own "Tiffany Style" glass art. You will learn how to develop a pattern, select and cut glass, assemble and solder a sun-catcher and a small leaded panel. The instructor will furnish a complete beginners kit the first night of class at an additional cost of $115. Class is limited to 10 students.

"Joy of Painting"
Experience the "Joy of Painting" as seen on TV by participating in this "BOB ROSS Workshop". No experience is necessary and you will complete 6 beautiful paintings (3 landscapes, 1 floral, 2 ocean scenes) in a step-by-step fashion with a Certified Bob Ross instructor. Bring only baby wipes, paper towels, and a SMILE. An additional supply fee of $40 per class per student covers the canvas and all of the necessary supplies and equipment to complete your paintings. Class is limited to 14 students.

"One Stroke" - Beginner
Donna Dewberry "One Stroke" painting technique. The student will learn to paint on wood, glass, metal, candles, etc. Students will finish and take home a project that evening. Supplies $10 extra each evening, which will be purchased from your instructor. Class is limited to 12 students.

Massage Techniques
You can pair up with a spouse, family member, friend, or just come yourself to learn the therapeutic benefits of basic massage techniques in this interactive workshop. The class size is limited to 18 students. This workshop is for personal use only and does not prepare for Massage Therapist licensing. Massage supplies extra - list provided by instructor in first class.

Principals of Investing
An educational workshop for individual investors. Course will provide a look at stocks, bonds, mutual funds, IRA'S, 401k's, annuities, and risk management. Everything from goal setting to avoiding the 10 most common investment risks. Books and all course material are included in the cost. Class is limited to 24 students.

Intermediate Floral Design
Expanding on the basic floral class, this class is for those desiring to do more in the proper floral design techniques. Design more advance wreathes, swags, and novelty arrangements as well as plan and design a silk wedding.

Landscape Design (NEW)
Now you can learn principles of landscape design, basic drawing techniques, plant selection, and discuss common design issues as a part of this class.

ServSafe
This is a certification course. Students must be present for all 16 hours to be eligible to take the exam.  This course will cover causes of food borne illness, Principles of HACCP system, occupational safety and health, and operational practices. Course cost includes text and exam. Maximum enrollment is 25. Check the website for updates or call.

Genealogy
Now you can learn principles of landscape design, basic drawing techniques, plant selection, and discuss common design issues as a part of this class.
