Introduction to Computers
Bought a new computer and now don't know what to do with it? Can't control that mouse? Don't know what a floppy, A, C or hard drive is? Then this is the class for you!

Windows XP
This class will introduce you to the basic concepts of Windows XP. You will learn how to customize the desktop, work with and manage your files using folders, copy and save files, and perform disk copy.

Microsoft Word
This class encompasses Word's Basic and Intermediate functions. The course provides instruction and practice on formatting and editing, spelling and grammar, thesaurus, tables reports, mail merge, charts and pictures, headers and footers.

Microsoft Excel
The student will use the Basic and Intermediate functions of Excel to Build, Modify, Format and Edit Worksheets; Perform Calculations Using Formulas; Create Charts and Databases; and Understand Absolute Cell References.

Access
The participants of this class will learn how to: Set up a new database; Design and modify tables; Work with multiple tables; Create forms and reports; Manipulate data; Run queries; and Chart data.

Computer Keyboarding
Beginning Typewriter/Keyboarding; Learn-Touch System; Increase accuracy and speed. This class is self-paced and can be started at anytime during the quarter.

Surfin' Seniors
This class is designed for senior citizens only! The participants of this class will learn the basic components and terminology of the computer, how to use Microsoft Internet Explorer to surf the Internet, use Outlook Express to send and receive e-mail, and create letters using Microsoft Word.

Introduction to the Internet
In this class the student will explore the WWW using Microsoft Internet Explorer. Learn the difference between search engines and directories, download files, and work with e-mail.

Quick Books Pro
This course is designed for the small business owner who wants to set up and maintain their company's financial records.

Publisher
This course will show the student how to create attention-getting newsletters, brochures, flyers,business cards, letterheads and calendars.

PowerPoint
Learn how to present your ideas visually and create attention-getting presentations using Power Point.

Front Page
This Class will show you how to build a Web Site using the Basic functions of Microsoft FrontPage.

Digital Imaging
Learn how to create and edit digital photographs for print and the Web. You will also learn how to touch up damaged photos, create photo collages and much more using Photoshop Elements.

Introduction to PC Upgrade and Repair
In this Hand-on workshop the student will tear down and put together a computer; identify, match and buy components; troubleshoot hardware, software and operating systems; and load new software. Prerequisite - Intro to computers or equivalent experience.

A+
The student will be shown how to identify, install, configure and upgrade peripherals; procedures for installing and configuring IDE/EIDE and SCSI. This course prepares the students for the A+ certification exams.

Network+
This course prepares the students for success in managing local area networks by introducing the hardware and software components used in networking and the standards, protocols and access methods involved. The functions and applications of network operating systems and techniques for troubleshooting network elements are introduced. This course prepares students for the Network+ Certification exam.
