This "Hands-on" course focuses on skills needed to construct a complete building or residential dwelling from the foundation to the roof.
This course is designed to help the beginner in dry walling, electrical, plumbing and heating, to understand the architectural symbols and drawings used in blueprints for construction.
Get your small engine into peak operating condition. Learn and practice common repairs and maintenance of small engines such as mowers, rototillers, chain saws and outboards. Students work on their own engines.
Obtain skill and knowledge of layout, fabrication, assembly, installation
and repair of structural units, and introduction to basic carpentry
procedures covering the selection, use and care of power tools and
hand tools with materials and methods of current day construction
are taught.
This class will teach you the basics about your engine, lubrication
system, cooling system, fuel and emission systems, electrical systems
and accessories, transmission and drive train steering, suspension,
and brake systems.

Student can study for low pressure and high pressure boiler operation
licenses.
Must have a high pressure license before attempting this class.
Instruction, testing and
driving of forklift. An operator's license is issued upon satisfactory
completion. Follows OSHA guidelines.
A Health and Safety class for construction students.
Includes classroom and shop experience with brick, concrete, block and stone.
Course covers basic practical experience in forming, pouring, finishing,
use for concrete tools and estimating materials.
This class includes: Wood building materials, fasteners, adhesives, hand and power tools, floor systems, wall and ceiling framing, roof framing, windows, exterior doors and math.
