Apollo Career Center is fully accredited by North Central Association
of Colleges and Schools and by the Ohio Department of Education,
Division Education, and is ISO 9001-2000 registered.
Admission for full-time classes is open to anyone 18 years of age or older not enrolled in a full-time high school program.
Course fees are established to cover the operating expenses of the Apollo Career Center Adult Education programs which are self-supporting. Textbooks, tools and supply fees are in addition to the listed tution costs.
These items, when required, are not included in the course fees and are not refundable.
The Stat of Ohio Department of Education certifies all instructors.
If a course is cancelled, a full refund will be made. Withdrawals from a program must be made no later than the beginning of the second class session and must be made in person. Refunds due students who are eligible will be issued from the Treasurer's Office by check only upon presentation of receipt. Students should allow four to six week for refunds to be processed.
An Apollo certificate of completion will be awarded to each student who attends 90% of scheduled classes and satisfactorily completes the required work.
It is the policy of the Apollo Joint Vocational School District that educational activities, employment practices, programs and services are offered without regard to race, color, sex, religion, disability or age.
All Adult AM classes will begin at 10:00 a.m. when there is a one-hour, two-hour or fog delay. When Apollo Career Center closes, Adult AM classes are cancelled. Decision on evening class cancellations will be made after 2:00 p.m. and announced on media by 3:00 p.m.
