PART
TIME PROGRAM
This
course is ideal for people who are already working or volunteering
in a daycare or preschool setting and would like to obtain their
CDA.

$1,100
Hrs:
120 classroom hours will be provided. Student is
responsible for an additional 480 hours of documented fieldwork
prior to end date to obtain completion certificate and CDA.

During
the early childhood years,birth through age 5, every moment is an
opportunity for children to learn more about the world around them,
to develop social skills, and to gain critical thinking skills and
knowledge.
This course
will prepare you to become a childcare teacher, daycare provider,
pre-school teacher or director.
You
will also prepare for the CDA (Child Development Associate Credential).
Coursework

is available through the Public Safety department.

and documentation of fieldwork hours provided for the “Child
Development Associate” (CDA) credential.
CDA Testing additional $325
Your CDA
credential will enable you to increase your skills in childcare
development and possibly move into advanced positions.
We also
offer seminars and workshops that are open
to the public to further your career and enhance the
quality of childcare in our area.
