Adult Basic Education enables adults to master basic reading, writing and math skills. The Free Reading Resource and Language Lab assists adult readers and non-readers to improve their language skills.

In addition, a FREE preparatory class designed specifically for adults who are interested in taking the GED (General Educational Development Exam) is offered on an on-going basis through the Adult Basic Education lab.

ABLE/GED Classes are available at the One Stop Office located in the first floor of the Allen County Dept. of Job and Family Services on South Dixie Hwy. Call Jodi Wireman at the One Stop at (419) 999-0365.

English Speaker of other languages (ESOL) is a class for foreign-born adults 18 years and older. There is no charge for the class. Citizenship preparation can be attained in the ESOL classroom.
