in Nursing)
- Experience teaching grades K-12 (21 years)
- RN for 24 years including nursing experience in educational
instruction with 14 years as a primary Apollo instructor. Practical
nursing experience in oncology, home health, long-term care, supervised
high tech pediatric home care, and school nursing.
- Also currently employed at St. Rita's Rehabilation and transitional
care units
- 1990 Train the Trainer Certification from Springfield Community
Hospital
The Certified Nurse Aide
Training Program is an 80-hour course with monthly start dates designed
to prepare the nurse aide for mandatory testing. The program consists
of classroom training and clinical experience.
Upon successful completion
of the program the student will be a competent healthcare provider
equipped to provide hands-on direct nursing care to patients and
eligible to take the state nurse aide exam.
*Other courses offered
include continuing education programs for nurse aides and CPR.
