In Early Childhood Education you will learn how to provide high quality childcare and education with hands on experience in local childcare centers, preschools and kindergarten, and special needs classrooms. Certifications required for employment in licensed childcare centers, and as a licensed family care provider will be earned. Students will be prepared to earn a Child Development Associate credential, which would enhance employability in fields related to early childhood education and care.

Students must have a history of good moral character and pass a background check. Students should also have the social skills necessary to work with children and parents in childcare settings.
