Carpentry students get one of the most unique experiences any high school student could have when they build a house in the community each year from frame to finish. Students who are driven by the energy that comes from working with their hands and outdoors will thrive in this program as they learn the skills it takes to construct a home and then walk away saying they built one. During the two-year program students will learn skills that include building techniques, estimating, blueprint reading, cabinet construction, building construction, interior wall finish and trim, and residential wiring. Upon completion, our students can enter the workforce or continue their education to pursue careers as a project manager or architect.
