Marketing Management

The topics that will be taught in Marketing Management include the four foundations of Marketing: Professional Development, Economics, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Business Management and Entrepreneurship. As a part of these foundations, there are seven functions that will define the aspects that are a part of the Marketing practice. The functions include: Distribution, Financing, Marketing Information Management, Pricing, Product/Service Management, Promotion and Selling. Understanding and applying these foundations and functions of Marketing will enhance future business opportunities for students.

Students are required to be at school in the morning. The lab portion of the program requires students to be employed in an entry-level retail or marketing related field during the afternoon or evening hours at a local business. Students should have reliable transportation to and from school and work.
