Our Automated Manufacturing Technology course prepares you for the NIMS certification

Apollo offers individuals seeking to achieve a career in machining and robotics excellent skills training that will prepare students to obtain NIMS (National Institute of Metalworking Skills) certification and Basic Robotic certifications. The student will complete a 640-hour curriculum that provides advanced training in:

  • Shop Safety
  • Manual Lathe/Mill Machining
  • CNC Lathe/Mill Setup and Operations
  • CNC Programming
  • Dimensional Metrology
  • AutoCAD and CAM Software
  • Robotics

Students that qualify may participate in externships throughout the program. Certified CNC Machinist and Basic Robotic technicians are in high demand. By completing the Automated Manufacturing Technology program students will have the skills area business and industry are requiring.

Tuition includes classroom materials, supplies, exam preparation, and certifications.

Each class module may be taken separately as a part-time class. Click here for availability.

Requirements: Students must submit official high school transcript, Work Keys assessment and AcuMAX.
