Apollo Responds To The Needs Of Employers And Community

Working at Apollo Career Center is gratifying as we are able to listen and respond to employers’ needs. This, in turn, helps our community and at the same time prepares students for the next opportunities in their lives – which we refer to as next ready. In my last post I talked about the variables that we consider when starting a new program. I am happy to report that we are offering a high school Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program for the 2022-23 school year. One of the most important variables we considered was the expressed need from local employers. There are many entry-level HVAC jobs available, and these jobs offer great career paths for our students. We are actively recruiting for an instructor to teach the program and we are confident the program will serve the needs of local employers and our community for many years to come.
