This course is for students who are planning to take the Ohio BMV Knowledge Test to obtain their temporary driver’s permit. The goal of this course is to teach students the rules of the road while utilizing the Digest of Ohio Motor Vehicle Laws and published driver’s education curriculum. Topics that will be covered are traffic laws, road signs, basic vehicle control, and more. The first two hours are dedicated to test prep and the last ½ hour is a Q&A session for both parents and students.

What’s Next?

After you pass the Ohio BMV Knowledge Test and obtain your temporary driver’s permit, you will need to complete 24 hours of classroom education and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel driving with a state-licensed driver education instructor. Apollo Career Center has several options for you to complete your required training.

• DRIVER EDUCATION TRAINING | This course includes both the required 24 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours behind-the-wheel instruction in driver training
• ONLINE DRIVER EDUCATION – 24 HOUR CLASSROOM ONLY | This course only covers the 24 hours of classroom instruction online. You will need to sign up for the 8 hours behind-the-wheel instruction separately.
• TEEN BEHIND-THE-WHEEL ONLY| This course only covers the 8 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. You can only signup for this course AFTER you successfully complete the online driver education.
